Twenty-five uniquely different pieces (five different shapes, each in five different colours) are presented in random sequence. The first two are positioned automatically in the squared grid. Continue the game by placing each subsequent piece in any vacant cell. You win the puzzle if you manage to get all 25 placed in such a way that no two of the same shape or colour are next to each other, whether horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Pieces that cannot be placed without contravening this rule are rejected and thrown to a dump. The puzzle will always come out with perfect play - but consider yourself pretty good if you end up with fewer than three rejects!
